Kevin Andrew Sweet

Early Saturday morning, June 16th, we unexpectedly lost our dearly loved son,brother,uncle,nephew and friend, Kevin Andrew Sweet. He was born May 11, 1990, in Charlotte NC. Kevin was predeceased by his brother Ryan Charles Sweet, his maternal grandfather Bernard Ames, and paternal grandparents Max and Margaret Sweet. Our beloved Kevin is survived by parents Dustin and Julie Sweet and Laurie Sweet, brother Dustin (Amanda) Sweet and niece Adalynn, sister Meghan Sherman, and brother Nathan (Katelyn) Sherman, grandmother Marlene (Willard) Rought, and grandparents David and Charlotte Alexander. Other survivors include many aunts, uncles, cousins and their families. Kevin graduated from Hopewell High School in 2008 and attended East Carolina University. He was currently employed at Action Cleanup and Restoration as a Project Manager in Huntersville. Kevin was loved by all who knew him, and could light up any room with his mischievous smile. He radiated joy and had an unbelievable enthusiasm for life. He was quick with a joke and always had a funny story to tell. Kevin was an avid hunter, fisherman and camper, and enjoyed spending time on Lake Norman with friends and family. He was a fierce friend, amazing brother, and adored son. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 19, 2012 at 5:30 PM in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home Huntersville, NC. Friends will be received from 3-5 PM prior to the service.
