Kenneth Clary Phillips

Kenneth Clary Phillips, 71, of Denver, NC passed away Tuesday September 17, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Ken was born November 25, 1941 in Greenville, SC to the late Roy and Louise Clary Phillips. Ken was a district manager for K-Mart for 18 years and was the former owner of the Beach's Grocery and Triangle Food Mart. He was a very hard worker and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing, Alabama football, Fox News and politics but he most loved the time he spent with his family. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Barbara Williams Phillips, sons; Kenny Philllips and Mark Phillips, both of Denver, NC, grandsons; Mark Phillips, Jr, Braxton Phillips, granddaughter; Tiffany Phillips,step granddaughter; Jillian Mourning and three brothers, Manuel, Marvin and Richard. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Donald Phillips. The family will receive friends on Friday September 20, 2013 from 6-8 pm at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday September 21, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.
