Kenneth Maynard Miller

Kenneth Maynard Miller, 81, of Cornelius, NC passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. He was born in Chicago and lived in Florida for many years. An avid sports fan, he ran a stamps and sports collectibles store there before moving to the Lake Norman area 20 years ago to be near his daughter and her family. Until November, he worked at the North Carolina Employment Security Commission Jobs Link division, now the Cabarrus NCworks Career Center within the Department of Commerce. For a while, he was the oldest full time employee of the state. He is survived by son Michael and his wife Joan of Westport, CT; daughter Debbie Monroe and her husband Rick of Cornelius, NC; and grandchildren Audrey and Elaine Miller and Richard and Robert Monroe.
