Kenneth George Karlinchak, lovingly known as Ken to family and friends, passed away on August 22, 2023. He fought a courageous battle with lung cancer, displaying immense strength and determination until the very end. Born on April 6, 1966, in Erie, PA to the late George and Arlene Karlinchak. Ken was a man of many passions and interests. He found immense joy in spending time with his family, particularly his beloved son Jackson. Weekends filled with quality father-son bonding were among his most treasured moments. Whether they were exploring the great outdoors or simply enjoying each other's company at home, their bond was truly special.
A man of artistic talents, Ken pursued his passion for creativity during his studies at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. It was there that he honed his skills as a swimmer and earned himself a dual Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and Graphic Design. This education not only equipped him with the knowledge necessary for a successful career but also allowed him to express himself artistically throughout his life.
Known for his kind nature and compassionate spirit, Ken touched the lives of all those he encountered. His sense of humor brought joy to those around him, leaving smiles on faces wherever he went. His presence was like a breath of fresh air in any room—a genuine soul who made everyone feel welcome and loved.
Outside of work and family life, Ken cultivated various hobbies that brought him immense satisfaction. As a gun enthusiast, he relished attending gun shows alongside his son Jackson. The shared interest deepened their bond and provided countless unforgettable experiences together. In addition to firearms, Ken had an affinity for comic books and anything related to James Bond. His adventures through the captivating world of spies and superheroes fueled his imagination. Furthermore, Ken loved traveling to the beach—an escape from everyday life where he could bask in the tranquility of the ocean.
