Kenneth Roland Brown

Kenneth Roland Brown, 84, of Denver, died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Presbyterian Hospital. Born August 16, 1926 in Davidson, NC. He was the son of the late Roy Brown, Sr. and Ruby Forterner Brown. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired postal clerk. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 31 at 2:00p.m. at the Webbs Chapel United Methodist Church in Denver. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 5:00 p.m. in the church He is survived by his son Phillip Brown and wife Sheila Isenhour Brown of Denver; grandson, Forrest Brown and wife Angela; great-granddaughter, Ella Grace Brown and sister Billie Sue Hollar. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Darwin Sherrill Brown, son Donald Brown and brother Roy Brown, Jr. Memorial contributions may be made to Webbs Chapel United Methodist Church 4640 Webbs Chapel Church Road, Denver, NC 28037.
