Kathryn Knox

Kathryn Jones Knox, 62, of Huntersville, NC left this earth for her Heavenly home on Saturday, September 26, 2020.

Kathy was born on September 2, 1958 to Rhodell and Ruth W. Jones of Charlotte.  She was raised in the Newell area and attended West Charlotte High School.  Kathy had recently started retirement after nearly 37 years at Verbatims America, LLC.  In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her daughter, Dana M. Knox.

She is survived by her son, Robert M. Knox and daughter, Kristen M. Knox; three beautiful grandchildren, Jayden Turner, Avery Knox, and Jacob Knox; and siblings, Stephen Jones (Gwen), Edwin Jones, Sherry Vaughn (Johnny) and Myra Jones.

Kathy loved the Lord and had a strong faith.  He was paramount in her life.  Being the eldest daughter and middle child of five, she was special in countless ways. Kathy was loved and SHE LOVED.  She had an immeasurable love for her family and friends.  Kathy was one of the most beautiful souls on this planet and her smile would light up a room.  She never met a stranger and her life will leave a lasting impression on those blessed to have known her.  Her three children and three grandchildren were her greatest achievements and joy.  She loved singing with her sisters, back rubs, peanut butter, and her sidekick, Toby.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC. Visitation will be held from 11:00am - 1:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
