Kathryn Hope Bell

Miss Kathryn "Kat" Hope Bell, age 95, of Davidson, NC died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at her residence. Born August 14, 1920 in Mecklenburg County she was a daughter of the late Monroe Patterson Bell and Lena Smith Bell. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 22, 2015 at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cornelius, NC. Mary Margaret Porter, associate pastor at Davidson College Presbyterian Church will officiate. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, George Bell of Burlington, NC, nieces; Lina Soares of Statesboro, GA, Aurelia Curtis of Graham, NC, Lee Harless of Burlington, NC, Jeanie Burris of Whitsett, NC; nephews, Clinton Bell of Tazewell, VA, Charles Caudle, Burlington, NC; great nieces and nephews and cousins as well as many dear friends and neighbors. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five sisters, Margaret Bell, Lenora Bell, Mary Bell, Louise Bell Caudle and Lina Bell; three brothers, Monroe, James and Hugh Bell. The family extends a special thank you to her dear caregivers for their excellent care during her declining health.
