Karen Ann Korabik Nonnenmacher

Karen Ann Korabik Nonnenmacher, 73, of Salisbury, NC passed away peacefully January 2, 2017. Karen was born May 5, 1943 in Astoria, NY to the late John and Jennie Rolleri Korabik. She enjoyed cooking and traveling to the ocean. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving family; husband, Fred John Nonnenmacher; sons, Fred John Nonnenmacher, Jr and his wife Stephanie of Charlotte, David Scott Nonnenmacher and his wife Debbie Sue of Maiden, NC; daughter, Jennifer Robbins and her husband Steve of Mooresville, NC; grandchildren, David, Jr, Christine, Jonathan and Morgan; and brother, Bobby Korabik.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Rowan County Hospice & Palliative Care, 720 Grove St., Salisbury, NC 28144.
