June Nance Winecoff

June Nance Winecoff, 93, of Davidson, North Carolina, passed away December 19, 2019.

She was born on June 2, 1926 in Iredell county to Alexander Sinclair Nance and Tessie Riley Nance.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William McClelland Winecoff, four sisters, and four brothers.

June is survived by her daughters, Betty Eudy and husband Wayne of Calabash, NC, and Kim Davis and husband Dean of Davidson, NC; son, William "Billy" Winecoff and wife Beverly of Davidson, NC; grandchildren, Amy, Michael, Jason, Ashley, Riley, Darian, Ryan, Jerome, and Alex; seventeen great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Washam; and several nieces and nephews.

In her free time, June enjoyed cooking, sewing, puzzles, and had a special appreciation for a beautiful snowfall.  Above all, she loved her family immensely.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-2:00 pm, at Hopewell Baptist Church, 18841 Davidson-Concord Rd., Davidson, NC.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm, also at the church.  Interment will take place at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
