Julio Donald Ruggiero

Julio Donald Ruggiero, 79, of Huntersville, NC passed away December 25, 2014 at his residence. Julio was born April 22, 1935 in San Francisco, CA to the late Julio John Ruggiero and Augusta Schmike Ruggiero. He worked in the grocery business for many years and in his free time he enjoyed working on cars especially restoring old ones. Julio was also known as a very good "handyman". Julio leaves to cherish his memory; loving wife, Joyce Ann Miller Ruggiero; daughter, Diana Phillips and her husband Nicholas of Charlotte, NC; sons, Donald Joseph Ruggiero and his wife Kathleen of California, Julio Richard Anthony Ruggiero and his wife JoAnn of California, Edward Thomas Ruggiero and his wife Mary of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; sister, Kathrine Mauldin. Services will be held at a later date in California. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Road, Charlotte, NC 28210.
