Judy P. Ferrell

Mrs. Judy Puckett Ferrell, 65, of Monroe, NC formerly of Cornelius, NC died Thursday September 19, 2013 at Clairbridge Assisted Living. Born July 2, 1948 in Cornelius she was a daughter of the late Robert and Doris Lawing Puckett. She was a stylist at Ann's Beauty Salon (Shamrock & Eastway Drive in Charlotte) for 38 years, very involved in church with Hope Based Ministries and feeding the homeless, enjoyed bird watching and gardening. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday September 23, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Cornelius. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jeffery Beaver and wife Tracy and granddaughter, Sarah Beaver; son, Jason H. Beaver; brother, Charles Puckett, wife Alice Puckett; sister, Brenda Alexander, along with 2 nephews, 1 niece and 2 great-nieces.
