Judith Schroeder Finn

September 5, 1948 — June 15, 2022

Judith Anne “Judy” Finn, 73, of Huntersville, North Carolina passed away on June 15, 2022.

She was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota on September 5, 1948 to the late Walter Schroeder and Helen Larson Schroeder.

Along with her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband Mickey Finn.

Judy was the second oldest of a large family. From an early age she took on the role of mother and nurturer to her siblings after losing her own mother when Judy was just 12 years old. She spent her entire life caring for others with her siblings always at the top of her list. She was a flight attendant for 25 years for Kansas City based TWA which is where she met her husband, Mickey. Following Mickey’s death in 2014, Judy moved to Huntersville to be closer to family. When not caring for others, she enjoyed gardening, crafts, and volunteering with charities that involved helping others. Judy was a quiet, humble, and selfless person whose greatest joy was found in serving others. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her eight beloved siblings, Jerry Schroeder and wife Mary of Davidson, NC, Jim Schroeder and wife Karen of McCook Lake, SD, Jay Schroeder and wife Beth of Hudson, WI, Jan Edlund of Sturgis, SD, JoAnn Mulkey and husband Mickey of Mendenhall, MS, Joel Schroeder and wife Cynthia of Lake Charles, LA, Julie Carrol of Poplarville, MS, and John Schroeder and wife Krista of Portland, OR; four stepchildren, Larry Finn, Cindy Archer, Robin Gillespie, and Kelly Finn of Kansas City, MO; and numerous extended family members.
