Joyce Lance Gibson

Joyce Ann Lance Gibson, 71, of Loris, SC passed away on June 17, 2016. She was born on April 29, 1945 in Gaston County to the late Richard Barton Lance, Sr. and Gladys Kerns Lance.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by sister and brother.

She is survived by her sister, Lois Watts and her husband Vernon; brother, Richard Lance and his wife Judith; and eleven nieces and nephews.

Joyce loved working in her garden and being outside.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 20,2016 in the chapel at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour prior to the service. Following the service she will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Charlotte, NC.
