Joyce Elaine Lake Fura

Joyce Elaine Lake Fura, 73, of Davidson, NC passed away Saturday February 21, 2015. Joyce was born October 17, 1941 in Canastota, NY to the late William and Geraldine Nichols Lake. Joyce was a caring homemaker and also worked at John Fura & Son Construction. She enjoyed her bible and prayer studies at her church along with cooking for her family. She and her husband John delighted in their travels driving their Corvette. Joyce leaves to cherish her memory, her loving family; husband, John A. Fura; children, Cheri Caiella (John) of Syracuse, NY, Nancy Martinez (Ruben) of Edinburg, TX, Carol Antoni (Nick) of McAllen, TX, Lori Mills of Blossvale, NY, Louis Howard Whitmeyer, II (Jerrilyn) of Montana; brother, Douglas Lake; sister, Marilyn Perkins; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Private graveside services will be held in Oneida, NY at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Levine & Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Dr. Huntersville, NC 28078.
