Joseph Michael Watts

Joseph Michael Watts, 43 of Cornelius, NC passed away January 10, 2015. Born May 22, 1971 he was a long time resident of Mecklenburg County where he graduated from UNC-Charlotte and was a Delta Sigma Phi. His interest in history and world events always made him a formidable Jeopardy opponent. He worked in construction material sales for most of his career. Josh is survived by his parents, Mike and Helena Watts; sister, Heidi and husband Cam Stewart and their children Nash, Kase and Palmer. Josh had a special and loyal friend, Susan Addison. He was blessed to have this light in his life. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m, Tuesday January 13, 2015 in the chapel at Raymer - Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC. A graveside burial will be private following the service. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may go to Cornelius Animal Shelter, 19110 Meridian St.Cornelius, NC 28031. Raymer- Kepner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Huntersville, NC is assisting the family.
