Joseph Maurice Des Rosiers

Joseph Maurice "Moe" DesRosiers, of Davidson, died at 6:37 a.m. Sunday, March 1st, 2015 in the Serenity Home in Huntersville, surrounded by his wife, friends and family. He was born Jan. 14, 1938 in Detroit, Mich. to Florida Elizabeth (Miron) DesRosiers and Louis Lucien DesRosiers. Moe graduated from St. Thomas University, Houston, TX. During his career, Moe built a very successful Sales Rep business in Detroit, Michigan. Moe is survived by his wife Jean, his daughter, Denise (Kalid) Hassoun of Addison, IL; Michele Tegland (deceased) of Roscoe, IL; his son, Greg DesRosiers of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Emily Tegland of Rosco, IL, and Lemise, Connor, Mason, Hunter, Brielle, Lincoln and Micah of Addison, IL; numerous nieces and nephews. Moe had numerous special friends and family members. A Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, May 9th 11:00 am, at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to The Serenity House, 14108 Stumptown Road, Huntersville, NC 28078.
