Jonathan Dean Cole, born on August 23, 2002, in Charlotte NC, Jonathan went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 2, 2023. Jonathan's life will be celebrated with a Memorial Service on October 14, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius, NC. The family will receive all those who wish to join the service with a reception immediately following the memorial service at the Gathering Place at Grace Covenant.
Jonathan was known for his big heart and kind nature. His smile lit up the room.He had a polite demeanor and always went out of his way to help others. Jonathan loved animals. One of his passions was reuniting lost dogs with their owners. He had a knack for finding them and ensuring they were safely returned home. Jonathan enjoyed spending time outdoors and had a deep appreciation for nature. He loved exploring new places with people from different walks of life. Another one of his interests was writing rap music lyrics. Jonathan found joy in expressing himself through this art form. In his free time, Jonathan loved to engage in various activities such as bike riding and skateboarding. He embraced the thrill and freedom that these sports provided him. He also enjoyed many different sports including basketball and football.
Jonathan is survived by his loving father Kevin (Melissa) Cole and his loving mother Gloria Cole. His Grandparents Pete and Ronni Cole, Step sister Lucy Keast, Step brother James Piorkowski, Biological father Shawn Taylor, Grandmother Juanetta Taylor, Sister Noelle Taylor, Uncle Tony Taylor, Uncle Mike Taylor, Uncle Randy Condon (Judy), Aunt Janice Fields (Jay), Cousins Derek Walker, Angela Walker, Amy (Josh) Nailling, AJ (Sam) Mendoza, James Condon, Nate Condon, and Jen Condon; first cousins once removed: Legend Nailling, Cross Nailling, and James Yocum. Aunt ChiChi Cheryl Vines (Randy), Cousins, Lindsay Graterol (Eduyn)2nd Cousins Simon, Isaac ,Zane Cousin Kent Vines (Lina) 2nd cousin Annie Aunt Brenda Boswell(Bryan),Aunt Montie Meredith Harris(Mark),Cousins Fletcher, Weston, Ripley, Lincoln , Uncle Jason Hoffman (Jen ) Cousin Andrew. Jonathan also leaves behind numerous extended family and friends to cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents James and Edith Condon.
