Jon Edwin Anderson

Jon Edwin Anderson, 62, of Huntersville, NC passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family early Wednesday morning, September 16, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center. Jon was born June 6, 1953 in Flushing, NY, to the late Edwin A. Anderson and Catherine Leverich Anderson. Jon was a machinist with Philip Morris for many years and was a huge Harley Davidson enthusiast. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Joseph C. Anderson, and nephew Daniel G. Borice. Jon is survived by his loving family; wife, Susan Hofbauer Anderson; daughter, Kristine Small (Ryan); sons, Jon Anderson, Jr., Gary Anderson (Jenna); granddaughters, Zoey Small, Quinn Small; grandson, Luke Anderson; sister, Linnea Borice (Nicholas); nephews, Nicholas Borice, Zachary Borice; many extended family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 19, 2015 at 5:00 pm in the chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends following the service.
