John Alfred Solimene, Jr.

John Alfred Solimene, Jr., 87, of Denver, NC passed away on March 3, 2025.

John was born in New York, NY on January 27, 1938 to the late John Alfred Solimene Sr. and Helen Sonar.

Along with his parents, John is preceded in death by his brothers Renato, Mario, and Alfred Solimene

He is survived by his wife Nancy; his three daughters Annmarie Novelli, Angela Canellys, and Michelle Cotter and their families, including 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; & his son-in-laws, James Canellys and Adam Cotter..

John was an Army Veteran, as well as a decorated New York City Police Officer.  He was an amazing father and husband who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 5 from 2 pm - 4 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC.
