John A. Hill, 66, of Huntersville, NC passed away May 17, 2019.

John was born in Huntington, NY on April 17, 1953. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline Hill and Floyd Hill.

John loved his wife and best friend, Tricia Hill. He was the proud father of Kristen Hill and Deirdra Daugherty (Ryan). John loved and lived for his family, especially his grandchildren, Declan Daugherty and Ella Daugherty.

John was a loving husband and father, adored and admired Papa, kind brother, cool uncle, Godfather and friend. He was hardcore, hardworking and tough. He was known for his humor, quick comebacks, kindness, selflessness, love for gadgets and coolness. He will forever be missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC.

A funeral mass will be held Friday, May 24, 2019 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Mooresville, NC at 1:30 pm.

Interment of ashes will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Cornelius, NC at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to Levine & Dickson Hospice House - Huntersville.
