John Richard Finn

John Richard Finn, 75, of Mooresville, NC passed away June 1, 2016 at Lake Norman Regional Hospital. John was born August 7, 1940 in Chicago, IL to the late John and Isabelle Slad Finn. He was a US Air Force veteran and owned his own plumbing company. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, along with fishing and baking.

John is survived by his loving family; wife, Gillian Poole Finn; sons, Sean C. Finn (Susan), Ryan J. Finn (Jeanell), Ian W. Finn (Deborah); daughter, Errin K. Smith (Steven); thirteen grandchildren; brothers, Thomas Finn (Barbara) and Patrick Finn (Nina).

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Illinois. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
