It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John S. Brenner on September 11th, 2024. He was 63 years young.
John was born on August 5th, 1961, in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. He will forever be remembered as a beloved father and husband to Danny, Paige, and Donna. He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Joan Brenner as well as his brother Andrew. He is also survived by his brother Fritz Brenner and his wife Andrea, sister Ellen Trucksess, brother-in-law Richard Scheel and sister-in law Kimberly Brenner, as well as his many nieces and nephews.
John was known for his vibrant personality and diverse interests. In his early days he attended Conestoga High School and graduated from Ohio University, where he was a proud member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He cherished his time at his family home in Avalon, NJ and he loved every moment spent with family and friends there. With a larger-than-life presence, John traveled the world, making friends wherever he went and always leaving a lasting impression and a smile. He had a deep passion for fishing and a profound love for all things outdoors. His entrepreneurial spirit was evident in his work in real estate rehabilitation, and he was a natural salesman. He cherished his family and friends deeply, and his warm-hearted nature and genuine kindness will be remembered by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
John’s greatest passion was undoubtedly his children, Danny and Paige who he loved more than anything in this world. He could not have a conversation without expressing his pride in the amazing young adults they have become.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, October 26th,2024, at Davidson United Methodist Church, in Davidson, NC, immediately followed by a service at 11:00am to celebrate John’s life. All who knew him are welcome to attend.
