Jocie Deloria/Brooks Hilburn

Mrs. Jocie Deloria Brooks Hilburn, 67, of Lincoln County died Wednesday November 10, 2010 at her residence. Born March 2, 1943 in Dallas, NC she was a daughter of the late John Wesley Brooks and Pearl Bass Brooks. She was a member of the Huntersville Church of God, loved to travel, shopping for her family and loved her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday November 12 in the Chapel of Raymer Funeral Home with Bishop Walter Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at the First Baptist Church in Huntersville. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 52 years, Harold Thomas Hilburn, sons, Wayne Hilburn of Hickory, Randy Hilburn and wife Leslie of Iron Station and grandchildren, Joshua and Jennifer.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Helms.
