Joanny Mercedes Pizzuti

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joanny Mercedes Pizzuti, a cherished mother, beloved wife, and indelible spirit, who departed this world on March 17, 2025, at the tender age of 46. Born on November 24, 1978, in the vibrant Dominican Republic, Joanny carried within her the warmth and vivacity of her homeland throughout her life.

Joanny's remarkable journey traversed the realms of love, laughter, and boundless passion. An accomplished former realtor, she demonstrated an unwavering dedication to her career, lending her expertise to the pursuit of homes where families could create unforgettable memories. Yet, beyond her professional achievements, it was her role as a mother that illuminated her life the brightest. Her greatest pride stemmed from nurturing her children, Anthony and Amanda Pizzuti, with a love that was as fierce as it was tender.

Her personality radiated charisma; Joanny was hailed for her wit and humor, often illuminating even the dullest moments with her hilarious quips and playful sarcasm. She inspired affection in all who were lucky enough to cross her path, serving not only as a steadfast sister and daughter but also as a friend to many. Joanny was a guiding light, having supported and helped raise her siblings, Alex and Jennifer. The bonds she forged throughout her life are a testament to her immense capacity for love and kindness.

When not charming those around her, Joanny delighted in reveling in life’s simple pleasures. She found joy in dancing to her favorite Spanish music, working lovingly in her garden, and losing herself in binge-worthy shows and movies. Dining out and sampling new restaurants were adventures she cherished, often accompanied by a fine glass of wine that accompanied her laughter and stories.

A life so vibrantly lived warrants celebration, and family and friends will gather to honor Joanny’s remarkable spirit at Raymer - Kepner in Huntersville, NC, on March 22, 2025. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, followed by a heartfelt Celebration of Life from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Joanny Mercedes Pizzuti leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished by her devoted husband of 20 years, Anthony Pizzuti, her beloved children, Anthony and Amanda, as well as her loving parents, Arsenio and Seneida Bautista, and her siblings, Alex and Jennifer. In our hearts, Joanny resides in eternal peace, her laughter echoing in the cherished memories she created with those she held dear.
