JoAnn Edmonds Cox

JoAnn Edmonds Cox, 89, of Davidson, North Carolina passed away January 25, 2023.

She was born April 21, 1933 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late John Samuel Edmonds and Virginia Lee Edmonds. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Cox, son, Phil Cox and her brother, Larry Edmonds.

JoAnn had a strong faith in God and was an exceptional wife, mother, and grandparent who will be deeply missed by her family.

JoAnn is survived by her sons, Bruce Cox (wife Barbara), and Ted Cox (wife Laura); daughter-in-law, Teresa Cox; grandchildren, Ashley Cox, Rebecca Reagan (husband Ben), Emily Welsh (husband John), Whitney Tate (husband Ryan), Phillip Cox (wife Laura), Annie Cox, and Ben Cox; great-grandchildren, Pierson and Graylon Reagan, Spenser and Katie Cox, Cooper and Madalyn Tate, Virginia and Lizzie Welsh, and Rosie Cox; as well as her nephews, Kent and Chris Edmonds and Steve Campbell (wife Patty).

Services will be held privately by the Cox family. Interment will take place at Lancaster Memorial Park in Lancaster, South Carolina.
