Joan Mulvey Clunan

Joan M. Clunan, 86 of Cornelius, NC passed away on August 26, 2021. She was born on February 3, 1935 in Providence, RI to the late Peter J. and Nora (Rowley) Mulvey.

She is survived by her son, Donald Clunan and wife Athena of Cornelius, NC and daughter, Patricia Isenhour and husband Dennis of Mooresville, NC.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Edwin J. Clunan and her sister, Peggy O'Rourke.

Joan traveled the world extensively, loved animals, and embraced her Irish heritage.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornelius Animal Shelter, Town of Cornelius, PO Box 399, Cornelius, NC 28031.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm prior to a memorial service that will be held at 6:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home located at 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078.
