Dianne Cox Laws

Dianne Cox Laws, 81, of Denver, NC passed away on October 17, 2023. Dianne was born in Charlotte, NC On October 12, 1942, to the late Clyde Woodrow Cox, Sr, and Jewell Crowder Cox.

Along with her parents, Dianne is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Cox and son, Don Lanham.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Roy Laws; son, Dale (Wendy) Lanham; brother, Woody (Cyndi) Cox; grandchildren, Ashley (Chad) Patterson, Lauren Lanham, Emily Lanham, and Jonah Dowell; great grandchildren, Addie and Boone; daugter-in-law, Robin Lanham, and many loved nieces and nephew.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home located at 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation.

Dianne was formerly retired from the U.S. Census Bureau. In retirement, she became an entrepreneur with a successful real estate investment business.

Known for her generous heart, Dianne loved hosting gatherings with family and friends. Time spent making memories with family and friends meant the world to Dianne. She also enjoyed time at the beach and often invited others to join her at her home there. Dianne also loved Friday night fish meals.

Dianne was a devoted wife and mother. She will be truly missed. She was a strong-willed woman.
