Jessica Marie Boesmiller

Jessica Marie Boesmiller, of Cornelius, NC passed away on April 26, 2022 after a long illness.Jessica was born in Statesville, NC on December 24, 1979 to Rodney and Debra Dingess of Statesville.

Jessica was a loving wife, mother and daughter. She was an extremely loyal friend and passionate advocate for the ocular melanoma community. Tens of thousands followed Jessica as she openly shared her journey over the past 4 years. Her strong faith and positive outlook never wavered. She was an inspiration to all that knew her.

Jessica had a life-long love of fitness, outdoors and youth activities. These included the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games, Lake Norman YMCA, Teens Camping Tour of the West, Young Life and Appalachian State University. She was a scuba instructor and a member of the Winston Salem Rescue Squad. She was also an active member of the Charlotte Fire Department Auxiliary. Jessica’s family are members of St. Mark’s Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by Edward Chadwick; grandfather, Reford Dingess; grandfather, Audrea Dingess; grandmother.

 She is survived by her husband Mark Boesmiller; her children Caleb(13), Connor(12), Piper(4) and Mason(4); Rod and Deb Dingess; parents, Jason Dingess(Corey);brother, Shirley Chadwick; grandmother, Gail Daniel(Steve);aunt, Ed Chadwick(Melissa);uncle, Jane Humphrey(Gary);aunt, Chris Chadwick(Toni); uncle, Robin Elliott(Jeff); aunt, Kim Dingess Wells; aunt, Reford Dingess, Jr.; uncle. Jessica was greatly loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

As we say goodbye to Jessica, we sincerely appreciate your thoughts, prayers, visits and phone calls. She loved without reservation and in return was loved by so many. The family is incredibly humbled and profoundly touched by your support.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, May 2, 2022 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Huntersville, NC. Following the service, a celebration of Jessica’s life will be held at the Boat Yard LKN in Cornelius, NC.
