Jeffrey Sean Cowen, 25, of Charlotte, NC died Friday September 27, 2013 at his home. Born July 21, 1988 in Columbus Ohio he was the son of Michael R. Cowen and Bonnie Teles Cowen of Cornelius, NC. Jeffrey was employed at Einstein Brother Bagels, an avid Sport Fans, big Steelers and Buckeye Fan, golfer, scuba diver and water sport enthusiast. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday September 30, 2013 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home with Rabbi Shields officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from12:00 to 1:00 at the funeral home. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Michael and Bonnie; sister, Rachel Cowen of Atlanta, GA; paternal grandfather, Elliott Cowen of FL. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Irene Teles and paternal grandmother, Carol Cowen.
