Jean Rondale Merritt, 79, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2023. She was born in Charlotte, NC on December 31, 1943 to the late Ernest Merritt and Pauline Horne.
Throughout her life, Jean brought joy and happiness to those around her. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and joke around. Her infectious laughter would light up any room she entered. Despite her lighthearted nature, Jean also knew when it was time to be serious and show unwavering determination.
A master of the needle and thread, Jean's skill as a seamstress was unmatched. She poured her heart and soul into every piece she created. Whether it was a beautiful dress or upholstery, Jean's attention to detail was exceptional. Her work not only displayed her technical prowess but also expressed her artistic flair.
When not working diligently at her sewing machine, Jean found solace in spending quality time with her family. She treasured those moments immensely and held them close to her heart.
Jean had an array of hobbies and interests that truly made her unique. Sewing was not just a profession for her but also served as an outlet for personal expression and creativity. Dancing brought immense joy into her life, allowing her to move gracefully to the beat of music.
On July 18, 2023, she went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. While we mourn the loss, we take solace in knowing that she is now resting peacefully in Heaven.
