Jean Helen Fox

Jean Helen Fox of Huntersville, North Carolina passed away peacefully Thursday, February 21, 2019. She was born in St. Louis Missouri on November 9th, 1938 to Joseph and Mildred (Ehlers) Engler and passed at the age of 80 years. Jean grew up in St. Louis and on February 4th, 1961 married to Thomas R. Fox. They were happily married for 58 years.

She enjoyed working and raising her 4 kids and 11 grandchildren. She and her husband lived 29 years in Glen Ellyn, Illinois before retiring and moving to Huntersville, North Carolina in 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mildred Engler; and parents-in-law, Leonard and Adele Fox; Sister Dorothy and Husband Charles Zelch.

Jean is survived by her Spouse Thomas Fox of Huntersville, North Carolina; her 4 children, Catherine and her Husband James Greenblatt of Ashhurst, New Zealand, Thomas and Wife Mi Kyong of Johns Creek,Georgia, Susan and Husband David Gallop of Wheaton, Illinois, Barbara Fox and Husband Raymond Tranof Huntersville, North Carolina, twin Sister Joan and Husband Edward Meyer of Arnold, Missouri, Brother-in-law John and Lorna Fox of Lakewood, Colorado; 11 grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A memorial mass will be held on March 2nd, 2019, 1;30pm at St. Mark Catholic Church in Huntersville, North Carolina with Fr. John Putnam officiating.
