Jean D. Foster

Mrs. Jean Davis Foster, 82, of Cornelius, NC died February 23, 2015 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House. Born July 10, 1932 in Fountain Inn, SC she was a daughter of the late Wister Wes Davis and Lucile Stephens Davis. She was a member of Lake Norman Baptist Church and formerly a member of Southside Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC. A celebration of her life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday February 27, 2015 at Lake Norman Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Blanton Officiating. Burial will follow on Saturday February 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Spartanburg, SC, weather permitting.. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service 10:00 to 11:00 at the church. She leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Rev. C. Everett Foster, Jr.; son, Mike Foster, wife Donna and grandson, Davis Foster of Mooresville and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Foster and her sister, Thelma Weathers. The family extends a special thank you to the caregivers at Huntersville Oaks Nursing Home and Levine & Dickson Hospice House for the excellent care given to Mrs. Foster in her declining health.
