Jean Hamlin Edwards

Mrs. Jean Hamlin Edwards, 74, of Liberty SC died from complications of surgery Wednesday October 10, 2012 at Levine Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC. Born August 29, 1938 in Pickens County she was a daughter of the late Edward and Pauline Welborn Hamlin. She and her husband, the late Charles "Skeet" Edwards, owned and operated Edwards Dry Cleaning in Liberty for many years. A celebration of her life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 20, 2012 at Liberty First Baptist Church, Liberty, SC. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Jane Gillespie and husband Russ; son, Ernie Edwards; grandchildren,Zachary, Joshua, Nathaniel and Jessica; great granddaughter, Brianna; sisters, Hazel Bryant, Barbara Caldwell Phyllis Finley, Gloria Gailard; brothers, Charles, Milton, Edward,Billy, Mickey and Ronnie Hamlin. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Starr.
