Jane Scruggs Camp

Mrs. Jane Scruggs Camp, 81, of Huntersville, NC died Wednesday May 23, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital Charlotte. Born October 8, 1930 in Mooresboro NC she was a daughter of the late John Howard Scruggs and Gracie Mae Webb Scruggs. Mrs. Camp became a member of the First Baptist Church of Huntersville in 1952, retired from First Union Nation Bank after 25 years of service and loved to travel. Most recently she resided at the Laurels at Highland Creek and the Huntersville Oaks. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday May 25, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, Huntersville with Dr. Doug Danner and Rev. S.M. Dorton officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Charlotte. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted and loving family; husband of 35 years, Frank Camp, daughter, Becky Helms and husband Nolan of Charlotte and grandchildren, Kristin, Candy and Jonathan Thompson.
