James Frank Wyatt, Jr., 92, of Davidson, NC, was born in Talladega, Alabama on December 1, 1922. His parents were James Frank Wyatt, Sr. and Nannie Lee (Heaslett) Wyatt. He was born in the place where his family operated a saw mill and timber business, as well as a cotton farm. He attended Vincent High School in Vincent, Alabama, where he was the class president and valedictorian. He attended college at Auburn University, and was a member of Scabbard and Blade, Phi Delta Phi and Sigma Chi. He was drafted into the United States Army and fought on the battlefront in Europe during 1944-45. As a Captain, he participated in the reconstruction of Germany and attended the Nuremberg Trials. Mr. Wyatt next attended law school at Georgetown University and graduated in two years. He worked at the Office of Chief Counsel of the IRS briefly, and then joined Universal Oil Products in Des Plains, Illinois, eventually becoming the Vice-President of Finance and Treasurer. He later joined CF Industries in the same position, and then worked for several law firms in private practice after he retired. Mr. Wyatt lived most of his life in Barrington, Illinois but always made several trips a year back to his home in Alabama. Mr. Wyatt always served as a leader in his community. He was on the Board of Directors of the Buehler YMCA; served on the Town Board of Barrington; and was the President of the Barrington Hills Country Club. He faithfully attended St. Michaels Episcopal Church. Mr. Wyatt is survived by his wife, Rosemary Barbara Wyatt, his sister, Margaret Northrup, his children, Martha Lee Beckington and James Frank Wyatt, III, and his five grandchildren. He will be dearly missed and is loved by his friends and family. Mr. Wyatt will always be known for his selfless devotion to his family, his stewardship and leadership in the community, and his devotion to his country. There will be a memorial service at the Calvary Baptist Church in Vincent, Alabama on August 15, 2015.
