James E. Thayer

James Eugene Thayer, 66, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away on May 10, 2017. He was born in Genesee, Michigan on May 15, 1950 to the late James M. Thayer and Marion Randall Thayer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Lynn A. Thayer; son, Mike Thayer (Dina); daughter, Stacy Staehli (David); step-daughters,  Katy Turcotte (Terry), Jessica Trainer; grandchildren, Alexis Collins, Matthew Thayer, Alyssa Thayer, Ally Staehli, Christopher Staehli, Tamara Turcotte, Tristan Turcotte, Kensi Trainer; 1 great-granddaughter; sister, Barbara Hill (Melvin); 4-legged buddies, Duchess, Gracie, and Lucy.

A gathering will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 19, 2017 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Mooresville, NC.
