James Furman Powers

James Furman Powers, 64, of Lincolnton, NC passed away Sunday November 9, 2014 at the Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte. James was born October 22, 1950 in Fayetteville, NC to Joyce Phillips Powers and the late Cecil Furman Powers, Jr. James enjoyed playing golf, going to the beach, trips to Disney World and watching UNC basketball, but his favorite time was spent with his family. Along with his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Jenise Cassada Powers of Lincolnton; children, Parrish Power (Caroline) of Fayetteville, NC, Amy Tabor (Mike) of Clayton, NC, Joy Morris (Steve) of Fayetteville, NC, Trevor Powers (Amanda) of Lincolnton, NC, Raegon Falk (Rob) of Huntersville, NC, Brent Powers of Lincolnton, NC and 11 grandchildren.
