James Montgomery

James Thomas Montgomery Sr., 79, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on April 8, 2018. Jim was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on May 18, 1938 to the late James and Margaret Montgomery. He is survived by Terri Montgomery his wife of 56 years this past February 17, 1962. His Children James Jr. his wife Terree, Scott Montgomery, Debbie Dewitt her husband Steve. Grandchildren James Thomas III, Jackson, Maggie, and Hank.

A Memorial Service will be held at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home at 16901 Old Statesville Rd. Huntersville NC 28078 on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital or First Tee of Charlotte.

Jim was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He never met a stranger and enjoyed life to the fullest playing golf, cards, traveling with his wife and spending many fun times with his friends and family. Jim was always willing to help those in need and made himself available to family, friends, and strangers. Jim’s presence will be greatly missed by all that were touched by his generous sole.
