James louis Leach

James Louis Leach, 79, of Charlotte, NC, was born in Pitts, Georgia on October 20, 1932. He later met and married his classmate, Emma Jean Green Leach, in 1981. Their combined union included 11 children and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren. James Leach obeyed the gospel of Christ under the teaching of Minister Thomas Green and was baptized at Eleventh Street Church of Christ in Palmetto, FL. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bethennie Leach; father, John Leach; two sisters, Emma Leach and Mamie Tisdol; and one son, Richard Leach. The wake will be held at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC on Monday evening, July 1, 2013 from 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held at the Lake Norman Church of Christ in Huntersville on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at 11am. Interment will be at Mansion Memorial in Ellenton, FL, with a graveside service conducted by Chandler's Funeral Chapel at 11am on July 6, 2013. Floral memorials are welcomed, as well as donations to the Howard B. Rorrer Scholarship 9528 Kestral Ridge Dr. Charlotte, NC 28269 in the name of James Leach.
