James "Jim" Jeffrey Poplin

  James Jeffrey "Jim" Poplin, 64 of Cornelius, NC passed suddenly into eternity on June 7, 2023.  Jim was born in Wiesbaden, Germany on March 4, 1959. He was the son of the late James Firth Poplin and the late Brigitte Kulig Poplin.

 

  Jim was a talented landscape designer, bringing his abilities to many places across the region through his company, Nightscapes, Inc for the past 25 years.  Jim loved music and passed on his abilities to both his children who are accomplished in guitar and keyboards. You could also find him in the kitchen; waiting to try any new recipe while keeping an eye on the TV watching The
Panthers or Tarheels. Jim had been a member of First Baptist Church Charlotte since 2006 and loved the Lord. We take heart in knowing he is safely Home.

 

  He is survived by his son, James Cameron Poplin and wife Ashley of Mooresville, NC, his daughter, Caroline Marie Poplin of Lynchburg, VA, his sister, Brigitte, and brothers, Rick, Jerry and Bryan and their families.

 

  Services will be held Saturday, June 10th with visitation at 2:00pm with service to follow at 3:00pm.
