James Chester Haney

James Chester Haney,"Pops" 65, of Huntersville, NC died Thursday, November 20, 2014. Born March 14, 1949 in Chesterfield SC he was a son of the late Chester Hugh Haney and Nellie Faile Haney. He was a member of Mt.Zion Community Church of God in Concord and retired from Mecklenburg County Building and Grounds. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday November 24, 2014 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery West. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Nancy (Richard) Waugh, Candee (Johnny) Coffey; son, Ricky Haney; grandchildren, James Haney Jr, Maria Laney, Shelby Waugh, J.J. Coffey, B.J. Coffey; great grandchildren, Devyne Haney and Duval Painter and numerous extended family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Whiten Haney.
