James Andrews

James Andrews, 85, of Mooresville, NC formerly of Brooklyn, NY died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House. Born February 8, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY he was a son of the late Gus and Esther Petrides Andrews. His wife, Mary, sister, Liberty and brother, Jessie pre deceased him. Mr. Andrews was a member of Three Hierarchs Greek Orthodox Church in Brooklyn, NY. He owned and operated Coyne Electric in the Bronx for 40 years. He was an avid tennis player and golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:45 p.m. Sunday October 19, 2014 with a Prayer Service following at 3:45 at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff, NJ. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Nikki Andrews and husband Michael Donovan of Worcester MA, Alexis Andrews and husband Robert Ade of Mahwah, NJ, Jayne Peterson and husband Eric of Mooresville, NC; son, Dean Andrews and wife Diane of Chicago, IL and grandchildren, Jayme, Jared, Jordan, Christopher, Kelsey, Jessica, Michael, Dane, Vanessa.
