Jaclyn Nicole Dillard

Jaclyn Nicole Dillard, 34, of Denver, North Carolina passed away May 7, 2021.

She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 14, 1986 to Travis Dillard and Tonya McGuire.

Jaclyn was known for teaching difficult subjects and using out of the box techniques to make learning fun. She was a new mom and excited to be a loving mother to Johnathan “Jack” Charles Latham. Jaclyn had a sweet fun-loving personality and was beloved to her family, friends, and students.

Jaclyn was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, C.J. Dillard and Joan Greene, and maternal grandparents, Vernon McGuire and Melba McGuire.

Jaclyn is survived by her fiancé, Nicholas Latham; infant son, Johnathan “Jack” Charles Latham; mother, Tonya McGuire (Graham Schenck); father, Travis Dillard (Angela Dillard); former step-mother, Linda Dillard; brother, Trevor Dillard; step-sister, Kelsey Propst; nephew, Trevor Dillard, Jr.; step-grandmother, Jane Schenck; and numerous friends that were like family to her.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 4:00pm-6:30pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078. Funeral services will follow at 6:30pm in the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Autism Society of NC.
