Iona Fassler

Iona Alter Fassler, 74, of Huntersville, NC passed away on March 12, 2018. She was born in New York on December 9, 1943 to the late Robert Alter and Eleanor Rauh Alter.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Jacqueline Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberley Delcastillo and Husband Chance of Cornelius; daughter, Kori Sultani and husband Boaz of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Brooke, Briana, Eitan, Ty; and nephew, Rick Slavik.

Iona liked art, drawing, and going shopping. She enjoyed the outdoors, going to the beach and enjoyed the sun. Above all she loved her family and will be truly missed by all that knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the daughter’s residence in Cornelius, NC.
