Ida B Jones

Ida Belk Jones, known as Sadie, passed away on May 19, 2018 at her home in Huntersville, NC.

Sadie was born February 21, 1921 to the late Charlie and Nancy Belk in Huntersville, NC.

She is survived by her  son Eddie Jones (Nancy); granddaughters Cheryl Jones and Shelly Jones (Bill); great grandchildren Sam Jones, Gunnar Vasil, and Emily Farster; and sisters Sarah Jones, Georgia Miller, Decie Davis, and Pat Cagle.

Along with her parents, Sadie is preceded in death by her husband, four sisters, and two brothers.

Sadie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and all of their friends. Sadie never met a stranger and was well known in the community. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, singing, and working in her yard.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 22, 2018 at 12:30 PM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends starting at 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
