Howard Donald Ray

Howard Donald Ray, 67, of Huntersville, NC died Tuesday, December 27, 2011. Born June 19, 1944 to the late Ben Elmore and Mary Sue Ray Gryder in Kingsport, TN. Howard was a member of Lake Haven Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, fishing and working at his church. He was a delivery manager for Lowe's Hardware. Howard is survived by his wife, Sara Ray, son; Donald Ray and his wife Sandy of Huntersville, daughter; Tammy Taylor and her husband Ricky of Charlotte, four grandchildren: Hilary and Nichole Ray, and Daryl and Joshua Taylor; one great grandchild, Makenzie Ray. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery.
