Hilda Beth Bumgardner Morris

Hilda Beth Morris, 85, of Charlotte, NC passed away Sunday August 12, 2012 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House. Hilda was born October 23, 1926 in Charlotte, NC to the late Dr. Code and Lemmie Bumgardner. Hilda is remembered for her supporting love of her Rodeo family, her love of fishing, walks on Ocean Isle Beach and her daughter Tracy, who is a firefighter with the Charlotte Fire Dept. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Olin (Dick) Morris, daughter Brenda (Tootie) Kidd Moore, sisters: Lucille Wilson, Bernice Bailey, Daisy Rappe, and Flora Jean Philemon, brothers: Donald and Jack Bumgardner. Hilda is survived by her daughter Tracy L. Morris, grandchildren: Jami Kidd Thompson and partner Lisa Tucker, Chet Kidd,IV and wife Beth, and Annie Carroll and husband Ron along with seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church on Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
