Hilary Rebekah Ray, 27, of Huntersville, passed away September 10th, 2018.
She was born January 19th, 1991 to Rebecca Holden Alexander and the late Howard Donald Ray, Jr.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sisters, two grandparents, and an aunt and uncle.
Hilary is survived by her children, Makenzie Ray, Gary Hart, Jr., Travis Hart, and Kendrick Ray; her mother, Rebecca Alexander and husband Troy; sister, Nichole Ray and husband Jaylan; brother, Trey Alexander; grandmothers, Violet Overcash and Sara Ray; nephew, Eliel Melendez; aunts, Sandra Wright, Tammy Taylor and husband Ricky, and Dana Holden; uncle, Todd Wright, Sr.; four cousins, TJ Wright, Cassey Wright, Daryl Taylor, and Joshua Taylor; and many others family and friends.
The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to Fire Department #22 of Charlotte, NC, and also to Hilary's uncle, Todd Wright, Sr., of Chuckey, Tennessee for his generous contribution to funeral expenses.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, September 17th, 2018 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Huntersville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 18th, 2018, also at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery, Cornelius, North Carolina.
