Helen Christine Linn

Helen Christine Tomrop Linn, 89, of Cowans Ford Community of Stanley, NC passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 30, 2012 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House, Huntersville, NC. Helen was born December 27, 1922 in New York City to the late Charles and Alice Carty Tomrop. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Helen spent many years volunteering and she enjoyed cooking, but she especially cherished her time with her family. A Funeral Mass will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Denver, NC with Father Carmen Malacari officiating. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Linn. She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Diane (Bill) Garaway of Santa Cruz, CA, Douglas (Jenn) Linn of Pittsburgh, PA, Patti (Joe) Coyle of Stanley, NC, Denise (Steve) Sonleiner of Austin, Tx, Kelly (Jason) Linn Roderick of Providence, RI, 14 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Levine & Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078.
