Hector Vargas, II

June 13, 1976 — November 16, 2017

Hector Vargas II was born on June 13, 1976 in New York, NY and raised in Astoria Queens. Hector is survived by his wife Angie Vargas, his children Ethan Noah Vargas, Mia Isabella Vargas, his mother Elizabeth Alvarez, three sisters two brothers and many nieces and nephews.

As a young boy growing up in New York, he loved playing sports in the courtyard in front of his house. He learned to love the orange and blue from his belated father Hector Vargas Sr.

At 19 years of age he dedicated his life to Jehovah on March 26, 1995. His strong love and zeal for Jehovah was contagious. In 1994 he met the love of his life Angie. They were married on July 18, 1998. They celebrated 19 years of marriage. During their years of marriage Hector served as a ministerial servant. Both Hector and Angie served as regular pioneers and attended pioneer school in July 2000. In 2004 their family grew as they had their first-born Ethan Noah Vargas. When Ethan turned one years old the family moved to Cornelius, NC. Although without family members in North Carolina, thanks to Jehovah’s wonderful organization fellow members of the congregation became their family. As years passed they welcomed their second child Mia Isabella Vargas in 2007. Through out the years their family bond flourished and progressed spiritually. In 2016 Hector and Angie experienced the most joyous occasion as parents, when Ethan dedicated his life to Jehovah on February 4, 2017.

Hector was a faithful servant of Jehovah and “conquered the world with his faith” (1 John 5:3,4). We await the day when Jehovah brings back our loved one on an earthly paradise.
